Master Comics #74(November 1946-Bulletman- Mystery Writer's Mystery))

As in so many Fawcett hero stories coincidence plays an important role. It just so happens that Jim Barr and Susan Kent were driving in the country and a lightning strike causes a tree to block the road so they need to find shelter. The nearest shelter is a cabin where a double murder has just occurred. The story then plays out by the numbers with Bulletgirl getting captured and Bulletman subsequently rescuing her. This diversion however doesn't stop the Bullet pair from capturing the mystery writer murderer, Forester, at the end. Art by Bill Ward (GDB).
